Who We Are

Founded in 2014, the NYC Agriculture Collective started as a loose collective of young founders and operators working at the forefront of the burgeoning AgTech sector in NYC. What started as an effort to advocate for local AgTech and urban agriculture initiatives in New York City grew to a registered non-profit reaching over half a million individuals and organizations across 50 countries, including some of the world’s leading commercial vertical farms, non-profits, public schools, academic institutions, regional and national government agencies and offices. All serving our mission to promote progressive urban agriculture and AgTech initiatives, food equity, and education in NYC.

Our Roots in the NYC Community Run Deep

The NYC Agriculture Collective has a a vast network of local, national, and international partners, both public and private. These orgs have created hundreds of jobs and educated thousands in the New York and New Jersey areas alone over just the past 8 years. Together, we drive urban farming, AgTech  and ClimateTech innovation and education in the Greater New York City area and beyond.
